Auto blogging basically means automatic articles posting on a blog. Indeed many plugins out there are capable of inducing the features of autoblogging in a blog. Once done, the wordpress will automatically post an article after the designated amount of time. This means loads of articles in no time.

When I first came to know about autoblogging, I thought of giving it a try. I installed the WPRobot plugin which is probably regarded as the best in the market. After configuring it, I let it run for few hours. WPRobot posted in few articles but all those articles were a mere collection from the famous article websites like ezinearticles and goarticles.

In short autoblogging doesn’t mean you’ll be getting new articles rather it just copies a content from some article base website and pastes it in to your blog with the link to that article. This means two things for your blog; lack of original content and bad SEO (search engine optimization).

Google is the major search engine and is probably a life line for a blog as search engine traffic is the real determinant of a blog’s success. Copying different articles and pasting them with a link might add content to your blog but it will hurt your search engine rankings. Google hates copied content. For most of the writers, it is a serious blow to their work that after much research they create an original content just to be copied by others.

Autoblogging is a huge disappointment. There are a lot of bloggers out there who are actually promoting the concept of autoblogging and eventually they end up making few dollars out of their fake advertisement but in the long run autoblogging harms a website in a real bad way. The importance of original content is self-evident. All the successful bloggers out there keep on working on original stuff and never rely on such short-cuts.

Blogging is the most painful way of earning money as it requires a lot of patient but once a blog is established, it could make millions. It just requires original content and time. Autoblogging is just a fake short-cut that offers nothing but copied content. A lot of other plugins offer fake utilities for wordpress blogs so always make sure to read reviews of plugins before installing them.
